Does installing require editing my theme?+
No. Simpll Wishlist uses Shopify app embeds; you toggle the storefront elements on from the app, and everything uninstalls cleanly with no leftover code.
Can guests use the wishlist without an account?+
Yes. Guests save instantly with zero friction. If they later log in or create an account, their list syncs automatically across devices.
What does the free plan include?+
The full wishlist UI, limited analytics, and up to 200 captured customers, free forever.
How does the 30-day Pro trial work?+
You get every Pro feature (full analytics, unlimited lead capture, automated emails, sharing and CSV export) free for 30 days. Cancel any time before it ends and you will not be charged.
Are the reminder emails customizable?+
Fully. You can edit the copy, images, CTAs, and attach discount codes to both reminder and back-in-stock emails.
Is marketing consent handled properly?+
Yes. Leads are recorded with their marketing consent status, so your exports and campaigns stay compliant.
Will it slow down my storefront?+
No. The storefront elements are lightweight and load asynchronously, so your page speed is unaffected.
How do I set up the dedicated wishlist page?+
Create a page in Shopify (Content then Pages), add the Wishlist Page app block to it in the theme editor, then paste the page URL into the app's Settings. The page shows Wishlist, Saved for Later, and Recently Viewed tabs with a share link. Full walkthrough in the storefront setup guide above.
Can shoppers see their wishlist inside their Shopify account?+
Yes. Add the Wishlist page to your customer account menu (Settings then Customer accounts then Customize in your Shopify admin) and logged-in shoppers will find their saved products next to Orders and Profile.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?+
The storefront elements disappear immediately since nothing is ever added to your theme code. Your app data is erased in line with GDPR rules, and shopper data requests and deletions are honored automatically through Shopify's privacy webhooks.
Does it work with my currency and language?+
Prices display in your store's currency automatically. All storefront labels (button text, headings, prompts) are editable, so you can write them in any language your store uses.
